The Triton AirHead v2 is a passive attenuator plug for all types of microphones. Whether capturing booming drums or roaring guitar amps, AirHead's variable attenuation prevents clipping, ensuring pristine recordings. Your signal can be continuously attenuated by -6 to -18 dB. AirHead is an excellent match with Triton's Kompressor when recording really loud sources.

In addition, by attenuating your signal, you can crank your favorite preamp without overloading. This way your preamp can operate in a higher gain range, so the sonic character of your preamp is more emphasized. With AirHead, Phantom power can still reach your microphone, and its balanced XLR input and output guarantees seamless integration into your setup.
