The microphone features a head and capsule design that offsets the proximity effect of the supercardioid polar pattern prevent vocals from sounding boomy and muddy.

M80-SH includes the M 785 plastic drum mount for use on a drum rim. The 5-meter SGMC-5R XLR cable with right angle female connector is included. The included ZB82 bag is smaller than older iterations (8.5" x 4.5") and the material has been updated to a faux leather with a smooth texture and effective padding for microphone protection.
