Product Description

The Schoeps AK DMS/3U is an adapter cable used with the SCHOEPS "Surround Sets" for the Double M/S system.

A single, six-conductor shielded cable with an XLR-7M output connector carries the signals from all three microphones (front mid, figure-8 and rear mid); the AK DMS 3U then splits the three signals out again.

Input XLR-7F:

  • 1: ground
  • 2: front cardioid "+ phase"
  • 3: front cardioid "- phase"
  • 4: fig-8 "+ phase"
  • 5: fig-8 "- phase"
  • 6: rear cardioid "+ phase"
  • 7: rear cardioid "- phase"

Output 3x XLR-3M:

  • Yellow: front cardioid
  • Red: figure-eight
  • Brown: rear cardioid
