Considered Neve’s ultimate analog console, the 88RS is renowned for its clean, warm tone, and high-quality components. The AMS Neve 88RLB 500 Series preamp combines everything you love about the original 88RS preamps with extra features like the REGenerate function, a sweepable high-pass filter, intelligent phantom power control, and more in a compact 500-series format.

CLASS-LEADING COMPONENTS

The AMS Neve 88RLB microphone preamp features the same innovative design and class-leading components as the original 88RS console pre amplifier to capture Neve’s legendary sound quality. The new Mic/Line/Combo jack makes it easy to quickly connect any device while working in the studio so you never have to break your creative flow. Additional 1/4-inch TRS jack Line and DI inputs on the rear easily integrate into your existing setup. And with a transformer-coupled mic input and electronically balanced inputs and outputs, you can rest assured that the signal coming through your mic pre will always sound their best.

ALL NEW FEATURES

The Neve 88RLB preamp features innovative REGeneration technology, which allows you to feed Line and DI inputs through the Mic input transformer to inject any instrument with legendary Neve sound. A sweepable high pass filter from 31 Hz to 315 Hz lets you roll off the low end with total transparency. The intelligent phantom power control protects your line level devices by only engaging when the microphone input is in use. And with useful features like a -20 dB pad and phase reversal controls, the Neve 88RLB 500 Series preamp is a studio workhorse.
