Product Description
The Ferrofish VERTOpro 64 connects up to 64 × 64 ADAT channels with Dante and adds powerful routing and management functionality directly on the device. Eight ADAT inputs and eight ADAT outputs provide up to 64 × 64 channels at 48 kHz. The Dante interface provides up to 64 × 64 channels and supports switched and redundant network operation as well as AES67. A high-resolution IPS color display provides direct access to metering, routing, clocking and device configuration. Two MADI SFP slots allow VERTOpro 64 to be expanded with optional dual MADI functionality. The device supports sample rates of up to 192 kHz.
The VERTOpro 64 fits directly into scalable network infrastructures of the Dante Eco System. The fabulous Dante control software allows it to route all channels freely within the network. The VERTOpro 64 can be remotely controlled via the Dante Network. The Dante audio streams can be used to send and receive embedded MIDI messages. VERTOpro 64 features two MADI SFP slots. MADI functionality can be activated with an optional MADI license and suitable Ferrofish MADI SFP modules.
FULL DISPLAY CONTROL AND ROUTING
VERTOpro can be configured directly from the front panel. The high-resolution 3″ IPS color display provides level metering, clock and interface status, routing information and access to the device configuration. The internal routing matrix allows signals to be routed freely between Dante, ADAT and when the optional MADI functionality is activated with MADI. Routing can be performed quickly in blocks of eight channels or individually on a per-channel basis.
SIXTEEN LIGHTPIPES
Thanks to an impressive array of 16 ‘Lightpipe’ connections, the Ferrofish VERTO pro 64 integrates a wide variety of studio devices or a loaded stage box into the Dante network. The compact box can add a complete room with audio equipment to the Dante/AES67 network of the facility, like a multi-room studio or a House of Worship´s main sound system. The VERTO pro 64 can be used as a cost-efficient solution, to add Dante connectivity at a later time to other Ferrofish converters, like the PULSE16/PULSE16 MX and the A32. It can simply turn ADAT-equipped devices, like the RME Firefaces or the RME DIGIface USB, into fully functional Audio-over-IP computer interfaces with Mac and Windows drivers.
SIMPLY PLUG IT TO THE NET
The Ferrofish VERTOpro 64 delivers all the industry-leading features of Dante in a single compact device. Including 64 channels bi-directional transmission and port redundancy. VERTOpro 64 can simply add Dante and AES67 connectivity to an ADAT audio interface or converter. It can integrate isolated islands of ADAT devices to a Dante network. VERTOpro 64 is out-of-the-box compatible with any other Dante-enabled device. It fits directly into the scalable network infrastructure with up to thousands of channels – with a simple CAT5/6 cable. It is immediately detected with all 64 I/Os and automatically configured. Every room with a Dante LAN connection can be used for recording or mixing – simply plug the VERTOpro 64 into the network and start to work.
