Product Description
The DPA d:sign 4011 Cardioid Gooseneck Mic employs the MMC4011 Cardioid Microphone Capsule for its directional quality and attention to detail, this solution makes everything sounds like the original. The first-order cardioid pickup pattern provides superb separation between sound sources.
A flat on-axis frequency response and excellent phase response deliver a faithful reproduction of the original sound. The off-axis response is similarly smooth so that any leakage is an accurate reflection of the original, though attenuated according to the true first-order cardioid pickup pattern.
Due to its modular nature, the d:sign 4011 Cardioid Microphone Boom can be combined with different lengths of podium booms – 20, 32 or 47 cm (6, 12 or 18 in). If longer booms are needed for floor stands with visual elegance, long booms at 77 or 122 cm (30 or 48 in) make a high-quality stage voice mic together with DPA's dedicated accessories.
DPA Gooseneck Microphones
DPA gooseneck microphones have quickly become a very popular choice for podium mics as well as for conference room usage as either tabletop or ceiling mount.
These microphones have, on numerous occasions, been the preferred type to turn to when high speech intelligibility is paramount. This for instance is the fact at parliaments where multiple languages are to be simultaneous interpreted and the interpreters must catch every word and nuances of the spoken word and in a split second deliver the perfect translation.
