Barefoot Sound Footprint03 Active Studio Monitor LCR System

Product Description

Barefoot was the talk of the NAMM 2024 Show with the introduction of the Footprint03, the successor of the Footprint02, offering Barefoot's state-of-the-art monitoring at a lower price point. They returned to the 2025 show with the Footprint03C, a center channel monitor tailor-made for pairing with the Footprint03 for immersive and surround setups. With the Barefoot Sound Footprint03 Active Studio Monitor LCR System, we're offering a pair of Footprint03 monitors with the Footprint03C for a left/center/right monitor setup.

FOOTPRINT03 3-WAY ACTIVE STUDIO MONITOR PAIR

The Footprint03 is the third iteration in the best-selling Footprint Series of active studio monitors. A bold leap forward for the series, the Footprint03 both builds upon its predecessors' innovative designs and introduces even more groundbreaking features, most notably the new fast-transient ported speaker design and revolutionary Spectrally Optimized Conversion (SPOC) technology. But even with these new specs, the Footprint03 feels like a natural evolution for the entire series, offering a unique and unrivaled listening experience at an affordable price.

The original Footprint speaker utilized Barefoot Sound signatures like Dual-Force Technology and the Dual Ring Radiator Tweeter. But for the Footprint03, the team decided it was time to push the speaker's design, performance, and quality further than ever. The result is a departure from Barefoot Sound's sealed cabinet design in favor of a ported speaker for extended low-end response and minimal self-noise. Additionally, all three aluminum speaker cones sport a more powerful magnet and motor system for greater output, less compression, and a spacious soundstage.

FOOTPRINT03C CENTER CHANNEL ACTIVE MONITOR

TheFootprint03C center channel active monitor is designed to complement the Footprint03 right and left channel monitors, delivering unmatched precision essential for accurate mixes in surround sound and immersive environments. Built on the proven legacy of the acclaimed Footprint03 tri-amplified 3-way design, the Footprint03C ensures seamless tonal consistency when paired with the Footprint03, forming a fully integrated and cohesive monitoring system that elevates any professional setup.

A center channel studio monitor is indispensable for accurate dialogue and vocal reproduction, precise spatial imaging, and ensuring mixes translate seamlessly across playback systems. It anchors the sound image, enabling engineers to balance critical elements like vocals, lead instruments, and central audio content with clarity and consistency in both film and music projects.

At the heart of the Footprint03C's innovation is its advanced design, featuring a 1" ring radiator tweeter, a 3.5" aluminum cone midrange driver, and two forward-facing 6.5" aluminum cone woofers, all meticulously crafted to deliver exceptional audio fidelity. Its state-of-the-art magnet and motor systems, copper shorting rings, and enhanced heat-sink technology work together to minimize distortion, support extended driver excursion, and ensure reliable performance even under demanding conditions.
