The Adam Audio S5V is an award-winning reference monitor designed for medium and large-sized control rooms. Featuring an all-new 12-inch bass driver, a 4-inch hybrid dome/cone hybrid driver, and a precision S-ART folded-ribbon tweeter, the S5V combines raw power with unparalleled accuracy.

Symmetrical Magnet Assembly Driver

Extended Linear Excursion (ELE) bass drivers offer a linear bass response down to 25 Hz. A newly developed Symmetrical Magnet Assembly (SMA) design allows the driver to accurately reproduce low-frequency signals without distortion. Powered by a Class D 700 W amplifier, the S5V’s bass unit delivers unparalleled low-end performance.

Dome/Cone Hybrid Driver

The S5V’s midrange driver features a proprietary hybrid design, combining the linear frequency response of a dome driver with the high output level of a cone driver. This audibly improves transparency in the mid-range and allows for distortion-free reproduction at high output levels. Equipped with a 300 W Class D amplifier, the DCH driver delivers precision midrange performance.

Folded-Ribbon Tweeter

Each of Adam Audio’s legendary S-ART folded-ribbon tweeters are handmade in Berlin to the highest standards. Capable of delivering a linear frequency response up to 50 kHz, the S-ART tweeter offers industry-leading accuracy. Adam Audio’s high- and mid-frequency waveguides improve clarity in the critical midrange frequencies. Mid-range and High-frequency Propagation System provide an extremely accurate off-axis response.

Advanced Digital Processing

S Series monitors are equipped with a high-performance DSP-powered crossover to for optimum frequency response and an extended dynamic range. This powerful DSP engine also offers an array of options for in-room optimization, like an eight-band parametric EQ, custom voicing presets, and limiter-based protection.

Accessing DSP functions is fast and easy with the built-in USB port. Simply connect your S Series monitors to your computer and tweak settings using the free software interface. In addition to standard XLR inputs, S Series monitors offer digital AES3 inputs for added versatility and expansion options in the future.
