Yamaha HS8S 8-inch Powered Studio Subwoofer - Single

I was suprised how much getting a sub took the pressure off my main speakers - they sound so much clearer now. This is a great quality product as you would expect.

The extended low end range is noticeable but what surprised me was the extra detail from my nearfield monitors. The extra bass information has really improved the sonic perspective in my studio when mixing, resulting in better translation between listening environments. Fewer mix iterations and tweaks which has saved time. HS8S has proved great value.

The HS8 is the perfect companion for the HS5 Monitor speakers and it is essential for mixing as the HS5’s only go down to 80Hz. It renders the low end picture so you can make proper mix decisions based on the full dynamic spectrum. Chris Karn always provides honest advice and offers top notch gear at a great price.
