Most music creators prefer creating music on speakers. They spend a lot of effort creating their rooms and getting used to how speakers sound in them. Unfortunately creators are not always able to work in those rooms either due to travel, late hours or some other reason. Sonarworks SoundID Reference Virtual Monitoring PRO lets you copy the exact sound of YOUR room on YOUR headphones with such accuracy that you can’t believe it until you hear it. Key to the process is personalized measurement of the room and your head properties using the SoundID Binaural In-Ear Mic that has been built exactly for this purpose, making each measurement truly personal.
SoundID Reference Virtual Monitoring PRO includes all features of SoundID Reference for Headphones and Virtual Monitoring, plus the ability for users to create personalized binaural presets of their studio or mix-check environment. The license covers activation for Virtual Monitoring PRO on Windows and Mac and comes bundled with the EREF binaural microphone for measurements. Packaged in a retail box; valid for up to 3 installations.

- SoundID USB Binaural In-ear Microphone
- Any over-ear headphones
- SoundID Reference Virtual Monitoring PRO product license(s)
- Access to the room/environment to be measured (stereo)
- Supported computer: macOS 11 or above, Windows 10 or above, USB-C port with USB 3.0 (or above) support, internet connection (offline use not supported)
- Audio interface requirements during the measurement process: independent speaker and headphone outputs; set to 44.1kHz sampling rate during measurement
PLAYBACK
- Over-ear headphones that were used during measurement
- Supported computer: macOS 11 or above, Windows 10 or above, USB-C port with USB 3.0 (or above) support, internet connection (offline use not supported)
- Any sample rate from 44.1 - 196 kHz is supported during playback
- For use of simple headphone calibration or regular Virtual Monitoring functionality: Sonarworks-supported or Sonarworks individually calibrated headphones
