The 50s brown finish is a vintage shade of brown, often found in furniture from this era, particularly popular in Danish design. The surface is stained, oiled, and waxed, remaining translucent—preserving the unique grain of the wood. This natural, plant-based finish was specially developed for Sessiondesk. It is treated with the same staining, oiling, and waxing techniques used by skilled carpenters to create unique, individual real-wood furniture. Additionally, it is exceptionally durable and represents the most environmentally friendly finish wood can undergo. Brown like the famous flames!
