It literally gives you the power to slow down, speed up and rewind time — just like a wizard. Instantly injecting pitch jumps, stutters and even reverse solos in realtime. RED PANDA TENSOR—A STITCH IN TIME
Tensor performs tape stop, slowdown, reverse, time stretching and pitch shifting effects in real-time. The unique Hold controls allow you to loop, overdub and downright mangle up to 4.8 seconds of sound. In Latch mode the Hold button toggles loop recording on and off like a traditional looper, but in Momentary mode loop playback begins as soon as you take your foot off of the Hold button.
TWEAK UNTIL THE END OF TIME
Use the Speed knob to create tape slowdown, stop and reverse effects in real-time. Dial in the amount of time stretching and compression from 25% to 400% speed using the Time knob. Obviously, Tensor can’t look into the future (it’s not that powerful), so time compression is only available during playback. That’s just about the only thing Tensor can’t do, though.
Create live harmonies with 15 different interval options spanning over four total octaves. Playback loops at different speeds or even different directions to create unique performances. Make sounds you didn’t even know were possible using an intelligent randomization algorithm that adapts to your current settings to create randomized glitches, stutters and pitch shifts.
EXPRESS YOURSELF
Bring Tensor to life with an optional expression pedal (sold separately) and dial in dynamic, evolving guitar parts that morph on your command. Quickly set up simple effects like tape flanger, doubling, and accompaniment, or create controlled chaos using effects like tap tempo reverse, glitch, stutter and rewind effects.
