Ohma World Motif Ribbon Microphone - Black/Stainless (Demo Deal)

Product Description

The Ohma World Motif Ribbon Microphone combines classic ribbon mic character with modern innovation to create a truly unique look and sound. Its durable design and extended frequency response easily capture the intensity of guitar amps and drums, the details of string sections, and the subtleties in vocals.

SWAPPABLE SCREENS – CUSTOMIZABLE TONES & LOOKS

Ohma World Microphones are modular and allow you to effortlessly change both their appearance and sound – which means you can use one mic for vocals, guitar, drums, and anything else you might think of. Each screen not only offers a unique look but also acts as an acoustical filter, which provides a distinct sound profile. (And they come in different colors!) The included Motif screens are magnetic and can be easily removed with the supplied guitar pick, so you can swap them out for any of the other screen sets available from Ohma World.

THE MOTIF SCREEN – OHMA’S FLAGSHIP SOUND

The Motif screen produces a "finished" sound that integrates seamlessly into any mix and works great on all instruments. With its full bass and silky top end, Motif captures sound that is balanced and textured.

WHY OHMA RIBBONS ARE SPECIAL

The ribbon is the heart of all ribbon mics. It provides their unique tone, sound, vibe – everything that makes a mic stand out. Ohma World’s ribbon, the same one in the legendary RCA 44, is meticulously hand-tuned at Ohma World’s Los Angeles shop. This process is how Ohma World ensures consistency and accuracy across their ribbon mics, and is the reason why these mics sound the way they do. Complementing this design is phantom-powered active circuitry and a custom-made German transformer, which together provide higher output and compatibility with all types of recording setups. Whether you're in the studio or at home, the Motif Ribbon is versatile enough to meet all your audio needs.
