The Neve 88C dual desktop dynamics processor brings the legendary dynamics section of the flagship Neve 88R console to your studio in a compact, desktop-sized unit that pairs perfectly with the Neve 88M interface. Featuring two channels of versatile VCA compression with adaptive attack and release controls, the 88C delivers the musical dynamics and legendary sonic character that has made Neve a staple of professional studios for decades. With a tiny footprint and convenient USB-C bus power, the 88C puts high-end dynamics processing within reach for studios of all sizes.
CLASSIC CONSOLE DYNAMICS
Building on the legacy of Neve's VCA compressors first introduced in the 1970s with the 50 Series consoles, the 88C embodies precise and versatile compression technology. The 88C captures the warm, smooth, and musical compression that the 88R dynamics section is renowned for, enhancing clarity and punch while preserving the natural tone of your recordings.
VERSATILE CONTROLS
The 88C is equipped with adaptive attack, release, and ratio settings, mirroring the precision and versatility of the 88R console's dynamics section. These features provide exceptional control over transient response and overall dynamics, making the 88C perfectly suited for a wide range of musical genres and studio applications. Whether you're tracking, mixing, or mastering; the 88C won't disappoint.
TRUE BYPASS AND SIDECHAIN FILTERS
The 88C's true bypass design enables seamless A/B comparisons, allowing you to hear exactly what the processor is adding to your signal chain so you can make your best creative decisions. Sidechain filters fine-tune the compressor's response, preventing over-compression and unwanted “pumping” on bass-heavy sources.
USB-C POWERED
Designed with portability and usability in mind, the 88C sports a compact and rugged form factor and runs on USB-C bus power for simple setup in any studio environment. Expertly designed and manufactured in the UK by Neve's renowned engineering team, the 88C brings the iconic 88R sound to your desktop, offering studio-quality performance in a sleek, accessible package.
CLASSIC NEVE DYNAMICS AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
The Neve 88C Dual Desktop Dynamics Processor distills the legendary sound of the 88R console into a compact, studio-friendly format, making world-class compression more accessible than ever. With its adaptive VCA compression, intuitive controls, and refined sonic character, the 88C is an ideal tool for tracking, mixing, and mastering—adding clarity, punch, and musicality to any source. Whether you're tightening up a vocal, shaping drum transients, or enhancing mix dynamics, the 88C delivers the unmistakable Neve tone with precision and ease.
