Neve 1073SPX-D Channel Strip and USB/ADAT Audio Interface

Product Description

Few numbers will make producers and engineers more excited than "1073." Thanks to the classic line of mic preamp and EQ units created by Neve, 1073 is associated with quality, excellence, and great music. That legacy carries on with the Neve 1073SPX-D, the world’s first audio interface with the genuine 1073 sound and circuitry built right in. By combining Neve’s iconic preamp with a powerful and versatile audio interface with USB and ADAT connectivity, the 1073SPX-D is a modern bridge between the analog and digital eras of studio recording.

TRUE NEVE 1073 CIRCUITRY

Plenty of interfaces promise “73-style” preamps, but only the 1073SPX-D can say it comes with the real thing. Just like the original units, the 1073SPX-D utilizes discrete Class A circuitry to deliver that quintessential warmth and satisfying presence that has elevated countless hits since the 1970s, as well as a robust EQ system for intuitive tone shaping.

BUILT-IN DIGITAL AUDIO INTERFACE

Along with the usual 1073 layout and controls, the 1073SPX-D doubles as a no-fuss and highly flexible USB audio interface with no-latency monitoring, stereo digital inputs, and incredible sound quality. The Neve 1073SPX-D offers plenty of input options with uncompromised 192 kHz and 24-bit AD/DA conversion on its own, and you can expand your I/O via ADAT for even more flexibility.

CUSTOMIZABLE WORKFLOW

The 1073SPX-D is a plug-and-play interface for any DAW thanks to its USB connectivity, but the fun doesn’t stop there. DIGI I/O routing allows you to use the unit as a hardware insert for your DAW, and the ADAT expander lets additional audio interfaces connect and benefit from the power of the classic sound of the 1073. You can also use the send/return inserts to connect outboard gear for a perfectly customized channel strip.

THE 1073 LEGACY CONTINUES

Neve has always embraced innovation and ingenuity in their designs, and the 1073SPX-D bridges the gap between a classic analog preamp and high-quality digital recording. Carefully crafted by Neve’s dedicated engineers, the 1073SPX-D is poised to introduce the latest generation of creators to the unmatched sonic signature of the 1073 preamp. Check it out today to experience 1073 like never before.
