Product Description
The Glyph Blackbox PRO RAID with Thunderbolt 3 is a high-performance, dual-drive hardware RAID built for demanding studio workflows and mission-critical projects. Two fast 7200 RPM Enterprise Class hard drives deliver transfer speeds of up to 550 MB/s over 40Gb Thunderbolt 3. Dual Thunderbolt 3 ports let you daisy-chain up to five additional devices through a single cable to your computer, and a built-in DisplayPort output lets you connect a 4K monitor directly to the drive for a cleaner, more streamlined desk.
HARDWARE RAID
Built-in hardware RAID supports RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD, and SPAN, so you can configure it for maximum speed or full redundancy with no software required. It ships in RAID 0 for maximum performance out of the box. A rugged aluminum shell acts as a heatsink and an intelligent quiet fan keeps the drives at optimal temperature for higher sustained speeds, while a removable cover adds extra protection. Blackbox PRO RAID comes formatted for macOS and is ready for Time Machine out of the box, and it’s easy to reformat for Windows.
PRODUCTION-GRADE STORAGE
Glyph has been in the storage game for over 29 years and trusted by creative professionals around the globe. Whether you are a filmmaker, photographer, or aspiring music producer, you can trust Glyph when it matters most. Blackbox PRO RAID is backed by Glyph’s industry-leading 3-2-1 warranty: three years of full hardware coverage including cables, two years of Level-1 data recovery, and one year of advance replacement. Whether you’re backing up finished projects or working from large session libraries, it’s a cost-effective, reliable storage solution for the studio or home.
