The Gefell BM 190 is a compact version of Gefell's studio condenser microphone series. It is a classic condenser microphone for 48 V phantom power, which guarantees a good speech, vocals and music intelligibility even in unfavorable acoustic conditions. Due to its design it is ideal for hanging onstage. Theater, opera and television producers will appreciate the unobtrusive design of the microphone. The BM 190 is made up of the microphone capsule BMK 190 and the BMV 100 amplifier body. By using a special cardioid studio microphone capsule, unwanted neighbor noises are well suppressed. The hanging device provides reliable positioning and precise alignment of the microphone. The stage microphone has a balanced frequency response and ensures neutral transmissions. The electrical circuit used ensures negligible low self noise. Due to low output impedance XLR cable extensions are possible.
The stage microphone is finished with dark bronze finish. The microphone capsule BMK 190 is exchanged via a LEMO.
The stage microphone capsule is connected by a hinged clamp with the hanging device. After fitting the capsule, the cable connection to the BMV is produced connecting the stage microphone to the 48 V phantom power via the XLR connectors. If necessary, the use of a W 19 windscreen is recommended.
