Product Description

The Burl Audio BDA8 is a state-of-the-art digital-to-analog converter daughter card for the B80 Mothership. Featuring eight channels of pristine audio conversion, Burl’s NextGen analog circuit and the BOPA14 discrete Class A op-amp, the BDA8 is the ultimate DAC.

Classic Analog Circuit Path

The BDA8 digital-to-analog converter daughter card is the result of over 25 years of research, development and experience. This world-class converter utilizes the exact same Class A discrete transistor circuit path as the best-selling B2 Bomber analog-to-digital converter. The BDA8 offers eight channels of Burl’s renowned audio quality in a compact daughter card format with DSUB connectivity for added flexibility.

BOPA14 Op-Amp

The BOPA14 with BURL NextGen Analog is the result of hundreds of hours of listening tests. It boasts stunning clarity and definition and raises the bar of excellence in pro audio analog electronics fidelity. The BOPA14 is an all discrete, Class A op-amp with a minimal number of transistors. If you thought the original BOPA4 sounded good, this analog design will blow your mind with tighter bass and higher definition throughout the audio spectrum.
