The BAE PDI is a hand-wired passive direct box equipped with a class-leading OEP/Carnhill transformer for rich, warm analog tone in the studio and on the road. With a solid steel chassis and rugged Neutrik XLR and 1/4-inch connectors, the BAE PDI is road-ready and tour-tough. And with versatile features like a built-in ground lift switch and two thru outputs, the BAE PDI is the ultimate studio DI box.

HIGH-QUALITY COMPONENTS

Hand-made in the USA, the BAE PDI features a high-quality OEP/Carnhill audio transformer to give instruments added depth and harmonic richness. With gold-plated circuits and through-hole component technology, the BAE PDI provides rock-solid reliability with minimal interference and extremely low distortion and self-noise.

With a high-impedance unbalanced input, the BAE PDI is perfect for instruments like bass and electric guitar. And with a frequency response of 10 Hz to 40 kHz, you the BAE PDI captures powerful lows and brilliant highs.

SOLID CONSTRUCTION

On its front, the BAE PDI features a high-impedance Neutrik 1/4” input for connecting instruments, as well as a lo-Z Neutrik XLR output for routing signals to preamps or external signal processors. A ground lift button helps prevent buzz when working in venues or studios unreliable power. On the rear, the BAE DPI features two thru outputs for connecting one or more speaker cabinets.
