The Pauly P120 XX T-35 is a pop filter/gooseneck set for studio microphones that includes the P120 filter ring and T-35 gooseneck with 4 replacement filters. The Pauly pop filter has become the standard in recording studios all over the world and is used by countless radio and TV stations.

This variation does not have glued-on fabric on the perforated main ring, but wafer-thin rings, which are covered with the Pauly fabric, are to attach to the perforated main ring from both sides. In the recording studio, in the private project studio or on stage, you always have hygienically clean filter rings to replace and can also change filters with damaged fabric immediately. As an accessory, the Pauly replacement filters can be ordered in a double pack, the rings optionally galvanized in nickel or black. The filters are also washable, it is best to swirl them in warm soapy water, then rinse with clear water and let them air dry. The tissue tension does not change!

The perforated aluminum ring, despite its lightweight design, is sturdy and torsion resistant. It is galvanized (nickel version) or anodized (black version). This gives the surface a high class look while also making it hygienic and easy to clean.

The 41 holes of the Pauly filter ring are gently rounded at the edges, allowing air from inside the two fabric planes to exit silently and quickly. As a result, the second fabric surface is strained considerably less by the air impact. Speaking or singing creates air impulses which the Pauly filter ring can partly reduce very quickly through its ring holes. In that way subsequent air impulses are given room immediately and no excessive air jam is created between the two fabric planes. The air streaming through the holes is redirected, thus not hitting the microphone capsule. That is another significant functional difference in contrast to competitors.

T-35 GOOSENECK

The Pauly T-35 35cm (13.78") goosneck features long lasting resilience providing the numerous possibilities to apply the Pauly pop filter. It is made from the best materials applying excellent workmanship. Pauly goosenecks are nobly galvanized with nickel or polished and painted black very durable. A chromium nut sits at the upper end of the gooseneck. It doesn’t only look chic but has a practical purpose: as soon as the desired position of the filter ring is pre-adjusted by bending the gooseneck, the ring can be fastened with it independently.

The flat oval flap serves the purpose of fastening the gooseneck on the thread of the microphone stand. Pauly offers these flaps individually, either with a 3/8" hole (EU) or a 5/8" hole (USA).
