New & Current Vintage King Card Holders
Once you’ve collected all the modules and cases for your Eurorack modular synthesizer setup, you’ll want to look into modular synth accessories that will make functionality even smoother.
The most important accessory you will need is a variety of patch cables. Patch cables are what connect all of your modules together, without them, no unique sounds can be created. It is a good idea to have a variety of cable lengths, as well as a variety of color options. Smaller cables can help keep all the patching cleaner, especially when patching within a single module. Longer cables are ideal when patching between units that are spaced far apart in a larger Eurorack casing. Color coding can help you keep track of where the patches are going, for example, all the drum patches can be in red, oscillator one can be in orange, and oscillator two can be in green, and so on.
A small external speaker can be added to the Eurorack setup, which can be great to experiment with sounds without having to be loud if working late at night, or without being restricted to wearing headphones. The external speaker can be mounted within a Eurorack case, or be setup on the side and plugged in when needed.
If you are using a square of rectangular Eurorack case, sometimes it may be nice to have a stand that allow you to angle the Eurorack case. This could be very useful if you are working on a taller workstation and prefer to be standing, or for a live setup where it is ideal for the front panel to be pointing up at you while performing.
