    In 1990, Michael Grace’s custom microphone preamp designs were said to outperform anything else that was commercially available. He began selling his custom preamps to a small community of recording engineers and artists. The 801 microphone preamplifier was introduced in 1994 shortly after Michael and his brother Eben founded Grace Design. The 801 was more than just the brand’s first preamp. It set a new standard of audio performance and helped make outboard preamps more widely used in professional audio production. Grace Design has come a long way since the 801 microphone preamp by expanding its product line and learning from past successes. Year after year, Grace Design continues to make some of the best preamps and monitor controllers available.

    Grace Design has been building mic preamplifiers since the early 90s, and the current lineup reflects decades of steady improvement and refinement.   • The m908 and m905 are immersive multichannel monitor control systems managed by sleek remote units and run on a rack mount power supply. It takes very little effort to navigate and take full advantage of the exhaustive list of functions.
