New & Current Vintage King Card Holders
The FLEA 47 is designed to be a superb replica of the U47. It is equipped with an F7 capsule – our replica of the M7 capsule – our replica of BV8 transformer and Telefunken EF12 tube. Of course, the price depends on the type of tube. Those of you who have knowledge of prices know that the price of a good VF14 tube can reach 1,500€, so it is obvious that this mic is not a cheap thing. But this mic is possible to use for almost everything and always sounds great! The body is duraluminium and is nickel plated. The grille is available in two versions: glossy chrome or matte nickel. The whole set includes the mic in wooden box, cable, shock mount and power supply. You can choose from two PSUs, modern or vintage-style (modern PSU is standard, vintage-style by request).

Awesome mic and great service from Jacob!
Incredible value. Incredible craftsmanship. Incredible capturing device, great job. Thank you so much, Thomas…Reeltone Studio.
The best 47 I have ever recorded with !!
Knocked it out of the park. Can’t say I have compared this to a vintage U47 but it sounds amazing. My artist heard the difference immediately. Her previous mic of choice was a U87. I heard the clarity as if there were no electronics between her voice and my ears. Flea47>1073>176>DAW. Completely wowed. Then when you go to mix, your job is nearly done already.
Thank you Flea and thank you VK!!
It’s the best!
Sam ROCKS! (The mic is excellent, too)
This mic is great. Really well built. It sounds fantastic. It’s slightly brighter than I expected but far from being a bright mic. The top end is super smooth. The highs are almost perfect. The mic really sounds close to a finished track on the first take. Especially for vocals. You can’t go wrong with the Flea 47. The cable and shock mount are way above average. Really happy I’ve added this to the mic locker
The FLEA 47 is a stunning microphone. It looks & feels legit. It’s bass response is VERY similar to my vintage Neumann U47 … and so are the smooth highs. Where it differs:
1) There is a low-mid warmth to the original - even when you’re 10-12 inches away - which the FLEA lacks.
2) What at a first listen appears as ‚improved presence‘ compared to the vintage Neumann turns out to be a pretty narrow boost around 3.2k which can be a little annoying with sone singers. It forces me to EQ while the original just delivers what pleases the ear.
But it’s pretty close … and on double-bass it just blew my mind.
best mic in my whole studio . love it for the vintage tube throw back 70's vibes. an absolute must have!!!
My new favourite microphone!
What an amazing sounding mic. Especially on a pure power female vocal. Incredible!
I've used vintage U47s before and this really brings me back to it! I love the sound and the price!
I have used a ton of microphones in my day.
This microphone is so incredibly easy to use, and the warmth of the tube is phenomenal.
I purposely used an inexpensive acoustic guitar just to see what it would sound like.
The results were quite amazing, I didn't have to fuss over perfect placement at all, I immediately got a great sound.
Also with vocals, this microphone has a depth and clarity that I haven't heard before.
The sound has nice bottom, while it delivers a smooth high end.
No matter what i put in front of this beauty, it truly sounded like the source, and for me... That's all I need.
Thank you Flea :-)
