Available Positions

Sales Director

Currently, Vintage King is searching for an experienced person with vision and strong leadership skills to head our Sales Team. The Director will be based at our Michigan headquarters and will lead our teams located in Michigan, Los Angeles, Nashville, and Chicago.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and contracts to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring sales team members.
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.
  • Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.
  • Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.
  • Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
  • Coordinates the preparation of manuals and technical publications for products and processes within sales
  • Recommends or approves the budget, expenditures, and appropriations for research and development work.

What you know/have done:

  • Bachelor's Degree in sales, marketing, or business administration
  • 3 - 5 years of leadership experience in sales management
  • A passion to lead, mentor, and motivate team members towards a common vision.

Things that will impress us:

  • Experience with professional audio equipment
  • Experience with Netsuite or fluency with CRM software

Sales Manager

We are looking for a Sales Manager located at our headquarters in Nashville, TN. Our customers are passionate about their purchases and we are looking for someone who is passionate about Pro Audio Gear and has the experience to manage a Sales Team. Experience with eCommerce and retail is helpful.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for achieving annual profitability targets
  • Manageing a Sales Team of 8-10 Team Members - hiring, training & coaching
  • Strong knowledge and passion for pro audio gear
  • Assists in executing sales strategies
  • Manages Team activity and KPI's to drive sales

Our ideal candidate has 5-7 years experience in selling Pro Audio/Musical Instruments with 3+ years of experience managing a Sales Team. Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus.

Sales Representatives

Whether you're fresh out of recording school, or have a varying degree of recording engineering/production and/or live sound skills (or you're just a plain out gear head), we want to hear from you.
