Available Positions

Director of Marketing

Vintage King is searching for an experienced person with vision, an eye for detail, and strong leadership skills to head our Marketing Team. As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for managing marketing projects of many facets, turning strategies into materials and events that connect directly with our unique demographic, and interfacing with our vendors on a relationship level to leverage our highly respected brand into fruitful co-op opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop realistic quarterly, annual and strategic (2-5 year) marketing plans to meet business goals and objectives
  • Ensure the marketing department is continuously prepared to meet changing business needs
  • Define and execute strategic brand marketing, including on a retail level within our Los Angeles and Nashville showrooms
  • Grow Brand Recognition globally
  • Create a culture of accountability by regularly measuring and analyzing productivity and effectiveness, with a goal of continually improving and developing sustainable results
  • Project manage many simultaneous initiatives, setting deadlines effectively and nurturing a culture of accountability within the department
  • Financial management of the Marketing department including budgeting, planning and reporting
  • Determine roles, responsibilities, staffing needs within the departments to align with company goals
  • Lead content creation for our showrooms, website and all social media channels
  • Create and manage co-op advertising programs with our suppliers
  • Cultivate relationships with vendors and clients

What you know/have done:

  • 3 - 5 years of leadership experience in marketing and brand management
  • 3 - 5 years of digital marketing strategy experience
  • A proven ability to manage projects, set deadlines, and create accountability amongst a team
  • A passion to lead, mentor, and motivate team members towards a common vision
  • Ability to communicate effectively with our vendors and partners in order to further relationships and successfully negotiate co-op contribution programs

Things that will impress us:

  • Experience building a CRM model
  • Experience in managing large and small scale digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience implementing and leveraging marketing automation software
  • Experience building revenue attribution models
  • Experience in pro audio or musical instruments industry
  • Deep knowledge of SEO strategy
  • Previous brand development and measurable success stories

Sales Representatives

Whether you're fresh out of recording school, or have a varying degree of recording engineering/production and/or live sound skills (or you're just a plain out gear head), we want to hear from you. Sales Manager

We are looking for a Sales Manager located at our headquarters in Greater Detroit. Our customers are passionate about their purchases and we are looking for someone who is passionate about Pro Audio Gear and has the experience to manage a Sales Team. Experience with eCommerce and retail is helpful.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for achieving annual profitability targets
  • Manageing a Sales Team of 8-10 Team Members - hiring, training & coaching
  • Strong knowledge and passion for pro audio gear
  • Assists in executing sales strategies
  • Manages Team activity and KPI's to drive sales

Our ideal candidate has 5-7 years experience in selling Pro Audio/Musical Instruments with 3+ years of experience managing a Sales Team. Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus.

NetSuite Developer

We are looking for a NetSuite Developer to work at our headquarters, located in greater Detroit. Experience with eCommerce, telesales or retail is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing development projects from start to finish
  • Ability to turn requirements into technical specifications
  • Works with the Team to develop database efficiencies and policies

Our ideal candidate has:

  • 2-4 years of software development experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Javascript
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in NetSuite Suite Script client & server-side development
  • Proficient in NetSuite Suite Talk development and SuiteBuilder UI customizations
  • Proficient in Java, .Net or other languages that support SOAP based web services
  • Proficient in SDLC methodology and best practices

Magento Developer

Vintage King Audio is the premier supplier of Audio equipment to several industries. We are located in Metro Detroit and are looking for a Magento Developer to work with our eCommerce Team at our headquarters.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing & maintaining the front end of our eCommerce & internal applications using DOM Markup, Object Oriented Javascript, CLI tools and CSS Pre-Processors
  • Apply up to date web development methods and use good design principles
  • Create pixel perfect visuals with cross-browser compatibility
  • Develop front end functionality and visuals using mockups, style guides and requirements with Pixel Perfect attention to detail
  • Use current CSS & HTML W3C standards and develop with bandwidth optimization in mind
  • Technical design & planning of implementations & fixes

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Magento Front End Certification
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented PHP
  • Ideally 3+ years experience as a Magento Developer
  • Experience with; CSS Pre-Processes (Sass, Less, Stylus etc.), Adobe Creative Suite and Git Version Control or comparable systems
  • Experience developing responsive web applications
  • Passion for front-end development and an eagerness to learn new things
