The Neumann KH 310 II and KH 350 studio monitors combine the brand’s storied history with cutting-edge design.
Founded in 1928, Neumann has spent nearly a century shaping the sound of professional recording. In 2010, the brand brought that same expertise to studio monitoring with the introduction of the KH 120. Since then, the brand’s impressive range of monitors has continued to evolve, adding acclaimed models like the KH 310 and pushing the possibilities of accurate, professional monitoring.
The latest additions to the KH lineup are the KH 310 II and KH 350 monitors, which continue Neumann’s long heritage in three-way loudspeaker design. Ideal for medium and large rooms, these three-way active speakers support a wide range of applications including recording, music production, post-production, broadcast, mastering, and even immersive audio.

Neumann KH 310 II and KH 350 Studio Monitors
The KH 310 II is the long-awaited successor to the legendary KH 310 A studio monitor, and delivers precision and balance for critical listening tasks like mixing and mastering, while the KH 350 is Neumann’s first three-way bass reflex midfield monitor, adding scale, physicality, and low-frequency power for modern production styles.
While each monitor is optimized for different scenarios, they both share the same drivers, amplifiers, and onboard DSP for consistent voicing across the entire KH monitor range. On the outside, both monitors include an 8.25” ELFF woofer, a 3” midrange driver, and a 1” tweeter. Under the hood, each speaker features high-efficiency Class D amplifiers, digital AES3id (BNC) and analog inputs, and a full 32-bit DSP signal path for precise system alignment and advanced processing.
Now that we’ve covered the basics, let’s take a closer look at the new Neumann KH 310 II and KH 350 studio monitors.

Neumann KH 310 II Studio Monitors
The KH 310 II builds on the legendary KH 310 A, a studio staple trusted for its accuracy, sealed cabinet bass performance, and exceptional midrange clarity. For the new KH 310 II, Neumann carefully re-engineered and optimized almost every component, preserving the character of the original speaker while adding fresh new features for modern studios.
New features include lower THD across the entire bandwidth, 5 dB higher SPL, improved linearity, reduced IM distortion, outstanding transient accuracy, and low group delay.
While many things are different, some things stayed the same with the new design, like Neumann’s legendary 3” soft-dome midrange driver. In fact, the KH 310 II has the exact same external dimensions as the KH 310 A, making it absolutely seamless to upgrade from your existing setup.

Neumann KH 350 Studio Monitors
While the KH 310 II improves on one of Neumann’s most popular designs, the KH 350 is an all-new three-way bass reflex midfield monitor that’s perfect for larger facilities with high SPL demands.
The KH 350 combines Neumann’s proven mid/tweeter platform with its innovative MMD waveguide, delivering controlled directivity and precise positioning for film scoring, post-production, and immersive setups. Compared to the KH 310 II, the KH 350 offers an extended low-frequency response down to 30 Hz and slightly higher max SPL, making it ideal for modern music production.
Positioned between the KH 310 II and the KH 420, the KH 350 delivers powerful full-range performance without requiring a subwoofer in many setups, making it the “goldilocks” of the KH series for many of today’s top audio professionals.
