With the big 2015 Summer NAMM weekend behind us, we're ready for the rest of July, which is packed with new events and gear for you to check out. Read on to discover what we have planned for the end of summer and, as always, stop by the store for yourself to discover what's new in Nashville!

The New Home of Spectra Sonics
We're extremely excited to announce that Vintage King is now the exclusive dealer of Spectra Sonics' 610 and brand new V610. Used by some of the best engineers in the business, including Vance Powell, Tchad Blake, Mark Neill and Dave Cobb, these incredible mic pre/compressor/limiters are amazing. The original 610 was built in 1969 and still utilizes the same topology today, while the V610 includes new amenities like indetented controls, lower distortion, noise, and a +24dBu output. To find out what makes Spectra Sonics' 610 and V610 so special, come by the shop and demo the gear for yourself.

Vintage King Nashville Introduces Modular Synth Display
As a first in our area of the country, our store is now home to a modular synth display that will offer customers a chance to try out individual modules before buying them. Vintage King's new trek into modular synth gear will include pieces from Malekko, Sputnik and more, as we announce new brands in the coming months.

Vintage King Honored By 2015 Summer NAMM
Another successful Summer NAMM is in the books and we couldn't have had a better weekend in Nashville. In addition to being named one of NAMM's Top 100 Dealers, we were extremely honored to be given the "Best Store Design" award, along with our Vintage King Los Angeles family. Thanks to everyone at NAMM for the award and all of their support!

Makers Come Together For Vintage King/NAMM Panels
There would be no NAMM without a convention center full of amazing products and the creators who develop them. With that in mind, Vintage King teamed up with NAMM to host several roundtables featuring some of our favorite designers and builders. For our Meet The Maker discussion, Rolff Zwiep of Blackbird Audio Rentals talked with Wes Dooley of AEA Ribbon Mics, Deni Mesanovic of Mesanovic Mics, Alan Venitosh of Telefunken Elektroakustik and Jonathan Pines of Rupert Neve Designs and sE Electronics.

At another Vintage King/NAMM event, pedals were the hot topic as F. Reid Shippen moderated a conversation by some of the most well-renowned effects makers on the planet. Robert Keeley of Keeley Electronics, Josh Scott of JHS Pedals, Philippe Herndon of Caroline Guitars and Jamie Stillman of Earthquaker Devices, spoke about the methodology behind their masterpieces. Once again, thanks to everyone who made 2015 Summer NAMM a huge success!
