The 2026 NAMM Show

From the moment the doors opened, the 2026 NAMM Show was buzzing with excitement, as some of the industry's biggest brands showed off new products. This year’s show had something for every kind of studio, from innovative new designs to modern versions of proven classics, and everything in between. Below, we’ve rounded up our top 10 new releases from NAMM 2026, including exclusive photos and videos straight from the showroom floor.

Chandler Limited REDD Mixing System

One of the products we’re most excited about from this year’s NAMM Show is the new Chandler Limited REDD Mixing System. The first EMI recording console released in over 50 years, the REDD Mixing System combines the legendary sound of REDD, TG, and RS desks together in one fully modular system.

Developed over six years by Chandler Limited in collaboration with Abbey Road Studios, this revolutionary system allows you to configure any combination of REDD tube circuitry, TG MKI germanium transistor designs, or MKIV Class A silicon components to create small tracking rigs or large-format consoles that are endlessly expandable.

Each cassette is 100% hand-wired and hand-assembled in Shell Rock, Iowa, with transformer-balanced inputs and outputs, hand-soldered PCBs and eyelet wiring, no surface-mount components or ribbon cables, and vintage-style faders with modernized mechanisms for reliability. Designed to mount in standard racks requiring only 12U of space, the REDD Mixing System integrates seamlessly into modern studios.

Solid State Logic Origin Evo Console

SSL Origin Evo Consoles & Channel Strips

SSL’s new Origin Evo console drew a huge crowd at this year’s NAMM Show. Available in 16- and 32-channel versions, Origin Evo consoles combine everything you know and love about the original Origin desks (classic in-line architecture, versatile preamps, and signature E Series EQ) with a new “Evo” channel strip that incorporates SSL’s classic E-Series Dynamics processing, a new low-pass filter and updated high-pass filter, and an improved frame that makes it easier to incorporate your favorite gear.

Best of all, existing Origin owners can update their current consoles with the new Evo channel strips all by themselves in minutes, so you can enjoy all of the upgrades without any downtime.

H2 Audio Olympic 1100 Series Console

H2 Audio has been bringing the Helios magic to studios for years with faithful recreations of classic circuits across 19" rackmount units, 500 Series modules, and more. In 2026, the brand takes a major step forward with the Olympic 1100 Series Console, the first Helios-style desk to hit studios since 1979.

Configurable from eight up to 48 channels, the Olympic 1100 Series is a fully scalable design built to grow alongside your studio. Expand the system with 1100 Series FET compressors or additional 1100 Series modules, and tailor the desk as your needs evolve. The desk features a modern bus routing system and an intuitive workflow to keep the creativity flowing.

Rupert Neve Designs OptoFET Dual Stage Compressor

One of the hottest products at this year’s NAMM Show was the new Rupert Neve Designs OptoFET compressor. Adding to RND’s long legacy of pioneering outboard designs, the OptoFET combines a brand new FET compression circuit with an optimized version of RND’s classic optical compressor in a single rack space. With two modes of operation, including Dual Stage mode for classic serial compression, and an innovative new Dual Band mode that assigns each compressor to either low or high-frequency bands, the OptoFET offers advanced dynamic control and colorful tone shaping.

Neumann M 50 V Tube Condenser Microphone

In the microphone department, Neumann showed off the brand’s latest release, the M 50 V condenser microphone. Much like the legendary mic-makers did with the U67 Reissue and M 49 V, the M 50 V is built to the exact specifications of the original using documentation from the Neumann archive.

Introduced in 1951, the M 50 became the benchmark in classical recording and was instrumental in developing the Decca Tree technique, thanks to its outstanding transient response and unique polar pattern. While omnidirectional at low frequencies, the M 50 becomes gradually more directional at high frequencies.

elysia channex | studio Channel Strip

One of the best parts of attending the NAMM show is drooling over world-class gear that sets the standard of excellence in our industry, which is exactly why the elyssia channex| studio consistently drew a crowd.

This top-of-the-line channel strip combines a high-end preamp with a dynamic equalizer, an easy-to-use compressor, and a zero-latency monitor section, all in one device. Plus, channex | studio includes a dedicated flavor knob for adding color to your mix, with five selectable sonic signatures including saturation, warm, harmonics, sunrise, and density.

Cranborne Audio Brick Lane MC4 Four-Channel Dynamics Processor

Another standout piece of outboard gear from this year’s NAMM Show was the new Cranborne Audio Brick Lane MC4. While it may seem like just a rackmount version of the brand’s popular Brick Lane compressor, it’s actually an advanced four-channel dynamics processor that offers a number of versatile new features not found in the 500 Series version.

In addition to six classic compressor types (Velvet, Float, Smash, Tame, Glue, and Polish) and advanced Enigma mode control, the MC4 also offers multiple modes of operation, including mono, stereo, and mid/side modes, plus series mode for creating dynamic signal chains, dual-band mode for multiband compression, and a built-in de-esser with analog lookahead.

Akai MPC XL

Akai Professional MPC XL

Here at Vintage King, we tend to focus our NAMM Show coverage on the pro audio releases, but it's also the launching point for a wave of exciting new instruments, like the Akai Professional MPC XL. Akai is known for its iconic MPC samplers and innovative workflow, but the MPC XL takes things to a whole new level.

The most powerful MPC ever made, the Akai Professional MPC XL features ultra-responsive MPCe pads, a dedicated step sequencer with 16 function modes, and 16 touch-responsive Q-Links with OLED displays. A next-gen 8-core processor and 16 GB of RAM keep everything running smoothly, while hands-on controls like the performance touch strip and one-to-one buttons make creating feel fast and intuitive.

Built on the workflow MPC users know and love, MPC XL adds advanced sequencing, clip launching, pro stem separation, and high-quality time-stretching. Best of all, comprehensive analog I/O makes it easy to connect all of your favorite gear.

Neve 88R LBEQ 500 Series EQ

Hot on the heels of the 88R LBC compressor, Neve dropped the new 88R LBEQ 500 Series equalizer. Like the aforementioned LBC, the LBEQ is based on Neve’s flagship 88RS channel strips, adapting the console’s four-band parametric EQ into a convenient 500 Series chassis.

Despite its compact size, the 88R LBEQ is perfect for complex tone sculpting, with plenty of frequency overlap across all four bands and super-smooth Q adjustments. The low band covers 33 Hz - 440 Hz, the low-mid band covers 120 Hz - 2 kHz, the high-mid band covers 800 Hz - 9 kHz, and the high band covers 1.5 kHz - 18 kHz, making it easy to zero in on any frequency.

BURL Audio BC5000 Bigfoot Optical Compressor

The legends are true. Bigfoot is real, and BURL brought one to the NAMM Show. Most optical compressors we use today are based on classic designs from the 60s and 70s, but BURL’s Bigfoot breaks from the mold.

Like a traditional optical compressor, Bigfoot uses an optical element for that smooth, musical compression sound, but BURL took things a step further by injecting some of the brand’s signature analog mojo into the mix.

In addition to the optical element, BURL added a fully balanced, Class A circuit path and a discrete transistor with switchable BX1 and BX5 transformers. In fact, the input and output circuits are the same as the brand’s BAD4M and BDA4M Mothership cards.

Throw in advanced features like a switchable fast limiter circuit, sidechain low-cut filter, and a built-in de-esser circuit, and it’s no surprise why the Bigfoot was such a hit at this year’s NAMM Show.
