Dangerous Music’s BAX500 layout makes it extremely easy to work with. There are two sections, High and Low, and each features three controls: Shelf, Cut, and Level. The shelves are broad and sweet, think musical rather than surgical. The Low Frequency Cut Filter handles low-end rumble, while the High Frequency Cut Filter removes unwanted ultrasonic noise. Last but not least, Low and High level controls provide up to ±5 dB of cut or boost.
In our new Quick Hits video, we're utilizing the BAX500 on a number of different mono sources, and working with a stereo pair on the drum and mix bus. Watch below to hear the EQ on performances by Olivia Dear (Vocals), Mike Leslie (Vocals, Full Mix - Vocals), and Bryan Reilly (Drums, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass, Full Mix - Instrumentation).
