    Vintage King Workflow: EastWest Studios
Being one of the most prestigious studios in the world, the bar is set incredibly high for the quality of gear utilized at EastWest Studios, especially for audio converters. When deciding what gear to bring into the studio, EastWest's manager Candace Stewart often looks to her clients as a source of inspiration. "We find out what our clients want and we get it," says Candace. "I can't remember who introduced me to the BURL Audio converters, it might have been Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton / Sturgill Simpson), but they said they needed new converters. When deciding where to build out his next studio space, Beau opted for the confines of his home garage. The room is truly a swiss army knife for recording and mixing, as it features an amp wall, drum kit, buildable vocal booth with descending top, and a rig centered around the Antelope Audio Orion 32 HD Gen 3 interface. Navon [Weisberg] at Vintage King told me about the Burl stuff," says Jim. "I knew Dave Cobb was using it, Dave and I have the same manager, and I love Dave's records. He's written and produced multi-million-selling records for the likes of Bruno Mars, Cardi B, G-Unit, Lupe Fiasco, and countless others. In order to capture his song sketches in the moment and turn them into hits, Needlz has relied on Universal Audio's Apollo audio interface series for as long as he can remember.
