The Satori Gen 2 features a redesigned visual aesthetic, bringing a sleek and modern look that fits seamlessly into any studio setup. In addition to the updated design, Satori now comes with improved stepped volume control, with smaller 0.25 dB increments. This enhancement ensures even more precise control, providing exceptional accuracy in achieving the perfect volume balance without compromising sonic integrity. Satori Gen 2 provides neutral signal path, effortlessly switching and routing between sources while maintaining the clarity of analog sound. With Antelope Audio’s expertise in designing pristine analog circuits and optimizing power supply technology, Satori 2 achieves mastering-grade transparency, making it perfect for both professional and project studios.
The Satori Gen 2 employs Antelope's innovative technology to further reduce popping or zippering artifacts when adjusting volume, enhancing your listening experience. The attenuator now offers 0.25 dB precision, allowing engineers to achieve exact stereo accuracy and balanced L/R channels even at lower listening levels. This fine-tuned attenuator signal path preserves audio signal integrity and ensures all the subtle nuances of the sound are fully realized.
Satori Gen 2 includes an enhanced R4S remote control with color display for additional workflow improvements as well as refreshed software control panel. Users can switch inputs, adjust outputs, assign headphone monitoring, and engage talkback from anywhere in the studio.
Satori Gen 2 retains the fully analog 4-channel summing mixer found in its predecessor, but with enabled volume controls for each individual input. The analog summing functionality allows engineers working in-the-box to experience a more natural blend of instruments and dynamics, akin to mixing on a classic analog console. Satori 2 maintains the punch, headroom, and natural sound that engineers love.
The four independent audiophile-grade headphone amplifiers offer band members the ability to monitor with independent volume control, ensuring everyone hears what they need. With various talkback options included, performers and engineers can communicate easily, using either built-in or external microphones.
With 8 stereo ins, 4 stereo outs there are is plenty of analog I/O to ensure that all the gear in the studio stays connected all the time. Additionally, there are two convenient TRS headphone outs on the front and two on the back of the device. TRS, XLR, and D-sub connectors ensure wide compatibility for the whole studio. An independent LFE output on a balanced TRS connector which can be used for a subwoofer, outputs the currently selected monitor signal. D-sub thru connection outputs all 4 stereo channels coming through stereo input channels 5-8. Satori Gen 2 offers full digital control over USB. Simply connect to a computer to access all settings via a software control app available for macOS and Windows.
