The Adam Audio Sub8 is 8.5-inch subwoofer designed for use with AX-Series monitors. With an extended frequency response down to 28 Hz, the Sub8 produces deep, accurate low end. Equipped with a 240 W amplifier, Sub8 subwoofers can achieve levels up to 110 dB SPL.
Sub8 subwoofers offer linear bass reproduction down to 28 Hz, making them the ideal solution for small studios. With an extended frequency response, Sub8 subwoofers enable you to accurately monitor bass frequencies in studios up to 20 square meters.
Equipped with a high-efficiency 240 W PWM amplifier, Sub8 subwoofers deliver powerful, distortion-free sound at any level. A special 8.5-inch woofer with a 1.5-inch voice coil and a paper diaphragm delivers an even, balanced bass reproduction to help prevent ear fatigue.
Sub8 subwoofers can be customized to suit any studio. Instantly A/B your mixes with or without bass using the optional foot switch to toggle Sub8 on or off. Dial in the upper cut-off frequency for optimal pairing with additional speakers. Ideal for mixing for film, the Sub8 features a connectable high-pass filter to block signals below 85 Hz in the satellite speakers.
