ADAM Audio S7A Mk2 Active Monitor - Pair (Used)

The ADAM Audio S7A Mk2 main monitors were designed for large control rooms and film studios, delivering ADAM Audio’s renowned realism at high SPL levels. These monitors featured a seven-driver arrangement for smooth dispersion and superior imaging, even at high volumes. All drivers were mounted on a 25mm thick aluminum honeycomb plate, ensuring precise and undistorted sound reproduction.

The S7A Mk2 used advanced switching amps and power supplies, delivering 1500 W rms power while maintaining cool operating temperatures. The front panel included controls for input gain, driver levels, shelving filters, and parametric EQs to tailor the sound to any control room. A switch activated the Dolby X-curve, meeting the ISO 2969 Standard for film score mixing.

These monitors were top-of-the-line when new, and they still offer excellent sound quality today at a bargain price for the right person. They are located in NYC and the buyer will need to plan to collect or work with VK to arrange crating and shipping worldwide for an additional cost.
