The Adam Audio S3V Vertical Monitor is an award-winning three-way midfield monitor based on the beloved S3X. Featuring a newly designed 7-inch bass driver, a 4-inch hybrid dome/cone hybrid driver, and a precision S-ART tweeter, the S3V delivers a balanced frequency response in a compact package.
Newly-designed for S Series monitors, Extended Linear Excursion (ELE) bass drivers offer unparalleled accuracy all the way down to 30 Hz. A custom-tuned basket eliminates unwanted resonance and distortion, allowing the ELE bass driver to deliver unprecedented clarity and transparency. A 500 W Class D amplifier powers the bass unit for deep, rich, powerful low end.
The S3V is equipped with a 4-inch dome/cone hybrid driver, combining the linear frequency response of a dome driver with the detailed transients of a cone driver. By utilizing an extremely rigid one-piece drive element, the DCH midrange driver offers distortion-free reproduction, even at high output levels.
The S3V is capable of delivering a linear frequency response up to 50 kHz thanks to Adam Audio’s S-ART tweeter. Designed to offer improved clarity and definition over the original X-ART design, S-ART tweeters offer an improved transient response and an advanced dynamic range. Each tweeter is hand-built in Berlin to ensure maximum efficiency.
S Series monitors are equipped with a high-performance DSP-powered crossover to for optimum frequency response and an extended dynamic range. This powerful DSP engine also offers an array of options for in-room optimization, like an eight-band parametric EQ, custom voicing presets, and limiter-based protection.
Accessing DSP functions is fast and easy with the built-in USB port. Simply connect your S Series monitors to your computer and tweak settings using the free software interface. In addition to standard XLR inputs, S Series monitors offer digital AES3 inputs for added versatility and expansion options in the future.
