SSL Fusion Analog Master Processor

The Solid State Logic Fusion is an analog stereo outboard processor that adds rich analog character, warmth, and clarity to your mix bus or stems. Sculpt your sound with five unique analog processing tools: Vintage Drive, Violet EQ, HF Compressor, Stereo Image, and a custom output transformer. With intuitive controls and an all-analog signal path, the SSL Fusion makes it easy to dial in classic British tone. Pair it with the SSL Stereo Bus Compressor for a complete SSL mastering chain.

VINTAGE DRIVE

The SSL Fusion Vintage Drive is a non-linear harmonic enhancement circuit designed to infuse your mixes with organic saturation. The Drive and Density controls allow you to fine-tune the effect for subtle thickening or pronounced analog grit. These simple controls can bring cohesion to busy mixes, pump up drum tracks, or give an aggressive edge to vocals and instruments.

VIOLET EQ

Violet EQ is a two-band shelving equalizer built to preserve the clarity of your audio with minimal phase shift. With four selectable frequencies per band and a ±9 dB gain range, it offers precise control over low-end weight and high-end sparkle. Its musical response makes it easy to add depth and shimmer or control harsh frequencies without compromising signal integrity.

HF COMPRESSOR

Specially tuned for managing delicate upper frequencies, the HF Compressor dynamically smooths out the high-end in your mixes without sacrificing clarity. Its precision ensures that vocals, cymbals, and other high-frequency elements retain their sparkle while staying well-balanced. Holding the In button unlocks a hidden "LMC" mode that turns turning the module into a full-range compressor with a wet/dry blend control.

STEREO IMAGE

Using analog mid-side processing, the Stereo Image enhancer opens up your mix to effortlessly create a wider, more immersive stereo field. Use the Space and Width controls to enhance separation in your mixes and make every track stand out without sacrificing center focus or balance. This versatile feature is perfect for fine-tuning elaborate mixes, where spatial clarity and depth are essential.

TRANSFORMER

The SSL Fusion's custom-designed transformer stage imparts a distinctive analog coloration to your sound. Combining subtle low-frequency saturation with targeted high-frequency phase shifts, it effortlessly thickens your mixes and adds a crisp sheen to any signal. The result is a balanced tonal character that enriches any mix with robust sound and elegant detail.

DESIGNED FOR MODERN HYBRID STUDIOS

Input and output trims, a front-end high-pass filter, and peak-hold metering allow you to seamlessly switch between mastering loud mixes and enhancing raw tracks. A clean faceplate design with simple controls makes the SSL Fusion a joy to use and a beautiful analog centerpiece for your studio.
