The Yamaha YE740A00 is a genuine replacement woofer for the Yamaha HS8 studio monitor. This replacement driver is not compatible with any other speaker including the previous HS80M series model. 60 watt, 4 Ohm rated.
My HS8's original wooder became a casualty to the war between cats and inanimate objects. Fortunately this replacement was available on the interwebs. VK got it to me within days and even followed to after the order. Took me less than 5 minutes to get the woofers swapped out So with that, we are back in business.
