XTS Imperial Overdrive Pedal

The XTS Imperial Overdrive is a clear, open-voiced, wide-bandwidth overdrive that has been optimized for low gain to higher-mid gain tones. XTS developed the Imperial with a great deal of input from their Nashville clients. They took an overdrive sound that they loved and extended its flexibility and usefulness. The controls have been optimized to provide wide sweet spots that make this pedal easy to dial in.

The Color knob lets you adjust the EQ for a big variation in response without getting overly dark or painfully bright. The taper of the Gain knob makes it easy to dial in just a touch of grit to your tone, or use it to apply crunch with a formidable low-mid presence great for classic open-back combos. Bass response is full and the high end character is clear without being harsh. You can adjust the dynamics of you tone with the Dyn switch. The up position gives you a classic Nashville overdrive while the down position gives you a more articulate, faster voice, making the Imperial equally good at both thumping crunch sounds and clear, transparent overdriven sounds. The Imperial is a great solution for bold dirty rhythm sounds, adding the slightest amount of dirt to your clean, or sending an already crunchy amp over the edge!
