The Wunder Audio Allotrope has the same EQ circuit as the PEQ2. All aspects of this design from the metalwork to the components in the circuit are made to the same exacting standards as the PEQ2 simply remade for the 500 series format.
In 1971, Led Zeppelin bass and keyboard player John Paul Jones ordered a one-of-a-kind custom console, ‘The Allotrope’. Decades later, Wunder Audio has spent years in R&D resulting in dozens of improvements to the original design. The result is the Wunderbar, the PEQ2, as well as the 500 Series modules, the Cobalt Pre and the Allotrope EQ.
The discrete class a build quality is a culmination of years of testing and development by Wunder Audio in Austin, TX. The inside is pristine, with meticulous wiring and impeccable soldering. Top-of-the-line components are used at every junction.

Incredible eq. I was really astonished how responsive and huge it sounds..for just 3 band eq..Even with no gain it already adds lots of weight and kind of electric / resonant feel to any source. I used it only for synths as I do not record any live instruments or vocal, sorry but already loving it in my case!! :)
