The Urei LA-4 has selectable ratios of 2:1, 4:1, 8:1, 12:1, and 20:1. The primary controls both have a stacked-pot design: Threshold/Ratio on the left and Output Level/Meter on the right. Compared to the LA-3A, these controls are reversed, making them more similar to an 1176. Stereo switchable via the faceplate switch.
