The Upton Microphones C12 Multi-Pattern Large Diaphragm Tube Condenser Microphone is based on the classic AKG C12 which was produced by AKG from around 1960 to 1965. The original C12 is widely regarded to be one of the finest microphones ever made and is great for many recording application. Upton's C12 features all point to point wiring, the Upton CK12 capsule and a choice of either the T14 transformer or the slightly larger variation on this transformer.
