Product Description
Universal Audio’s LUNA Recording System is a new tool for recording, mixing, and mastering in the studio. When pairing the music creation software with a Thunderbolt-equipped Apollo interface, users will be able to take advantage of inspiring virtual instruments, built-in summing sounds, integrated multitrack tape, and Accelerated Realtime Monitoring.
To expand on the free software, UA has released the Universal Audio LUNA Creator Bundle, which packages together several add-ons to help you save. This bundle includes genuine Neve analog summing, integrated Studer multitrack tape, and two beautiful LUNA virtual instruments, the Moog Minimoog and Ravel grand piano.
NEVE SUMMING
When developing the LUNA Recording System, Universal Audio paired up with AMS Neve to recreate the summing circuit of the Neve 80 series console, including the 1272 bux amplifiers. While the free version of LUNA offers built-in summing, the Neve Summing Extension steps it up a notch with the color and warmth of a classic analog desk.
STUDER ANALOG TAPE
The Studer A800 is a legendary tape machine used in countless studios throughout recording history. The plug-in version that comes with the LUNA Creator Bundle allows Apollo users to replicate the analog workflow of these classic studios and tweak settings across all channels until they’ve hit full-on tape glory.
MOOG MINIMOOG
Moog Music and Universal Audio have come together to create an emulation that Bob Moog himself would be proud of. Here in all of its glory is the Minimoog with classic oscillators and ladder filters fully intact! This is the perfect option for replicating Parliament-Funkadelic and Kraftwerk synth madness or creating your own out-of-this-world sounds.
RAVEL GRAND PIANO
Universal Audio has used exclusive sampling, physical modeling, and new Ultra-Resonance technology to create an amazing emulation of the Steinway Model B grand piano. Dubbed Ravel Grand PIano, the instrument is ready to find a home on your next track and gives you ultimate control over the piano’s sound with Tone, Dynamics, and Microphone options.
