Telefunken Elektroakustik ELA M 260 Field Set

The Telefunken Elektroakustik ELA M 260 Field Recording Set was designed for the concert taper and on-location field recording enthusiast. The system was developed based around a rechargeable battery solution capable of powering the high voltages of the ELA M 260's vacuum tubes for over 20 hours.

Each ELA M 260 Stereo Field Recording Set system comes complete with two matched ELA M 260 tube microphones, a set of 3 interchangeable capsules (including the TK60 cardioid, TK61 omni and TK62 hyper-cardioid capsules.), two elastic shock mounts, two 12' Gotham Audio GAC7 tube microphone cables with right angle XLR connectors, two wooden microphone boxes to protect each mic, and the rechargeable battery power supply system.*

In the concert field (or in the taper section) the ELA M 260 Field Recording Set can deliver a multitude of stereo recording techniques. With the modular capsules a variety of coincidental and near-coincidental pairs can be achieved including the 90 degree DIN (German), the 110 degree ORTF (France), and the 120 degree NOS (Dutch), not to mention both A/B and baffled pairs including spaced omnis and the Jecklin Disk.
