The Tannoy Autograph Mini is a scaled-down but authentic version of a loudspeaker that was famous throughout the audio world over sixty years ago, the Tannoy Autograph. While the original Autograph’s corner-shaped cabinet was over 1.5m tall, the Autograph min is an exquisite scale replica just 34.5cm (13.6o”) in height. Its diminutive size and accurately detailed finish produce a modern day classic that will bring a sense of timeless craftsmanship to even the most contemporary surroundings.Remaining true to the cabinet build and finish quality of the original, the Autograph Mini incorporates a 100 mm (4.00”) Dual Concentric driver. Combining wide bandwidth technology, a heavy cast alloy frame and multi fibre paper pulp cone, this miniature Dual performs with subtlety, stunning detail and expansive imaging. Its titanium diaphragm high frequency unit is positioned on the same axis as the bass section and fitted with a neodymium magnet system to deliver a smooth response up to an incredible 54kHz.Ensuring complete signal path integrity, 99.99% high purity silver cable is used to connect the tweeter to the system’s minimalist crossover network. This thoroughbred audiophile component includes low loss inductors and specially damped audio grade capacitors. Like the original and all Tannoy Prestige Series loudspeakers, the Autograph Mini’s hexagonal cabinet is finely constructed from the finest birch wood ply and finished with hardwood trim. The authentic oatmeal coloured grille cloth matches that of its 1954 designed forbear.
