Studio Electronics, purveyors of Premium Quality Analog gear since 1985, have upgraded and expanded their beloved SE-1X, adding three-voice paraphonic capability, and two new filters to create the dynamic and timbre-rich Resonant Filter Collection - the RFC. Along with the Oberheim SEM LP/BP filters, the RFC comprises the MiniMoog, ARP 2600, and three-mode Roland Juno/Jupiter hardware filters. VOICE ARCHITECTURE

• VCOs: 3 Voltage Controlled Discrete Analog Oscillators: OSC 1 waveforms: triangle, sawtooth, variable width square; OSC 2 waveforms: sine, sawtooth, variable width square; OSC 3 waveforms: triangle, sawtooth, variable width square. All waveforms output simultaneously. OSC 1 syncs to OSC 2, 3.
• VCFs: 4 Voltage Controlled Discrete Analog Filters: SE Classic 24 dB Moog; SE Classic 24 dB ARP; SE Classic Juno/Jupiter: 4 modes: 24 dB, 12 dB, Mix; SE Classic 12 dB Oberheim: filter incorporates Low Pass & Band Pass modes. Filter frequency range expanded by a whole tone.
• Envelopes: 4 Multiple Stage Envelope Generators: attack, decay, sustain, release with inverting & multiple triggering. Envelope 1 fixed to filter frequency. Envelope 2 fixed to amplifier level. Envelopes 3 & 4 are assignable. ADSR speed increased from standard SE-1X.
• LFOs: 3 Low-Frequency Oscillators: triangle, sawtooth, reverse sawtooth, square, noise, random waveforms. One destination/amount for each LFO with key trigger, phase, clock-divisible MIDI-sync, auto-gate.
• Glide: Linear or exponential glide (portamento), auto glide.
• Fuzz: Switchable fixed value hardware amplifier overdrive for saturated distortion: 70s (soft fuzz), 90s (hard fuzz).
• Presets: 4 factory banks, 4 designer banks: Scroggins Synquence, Infrared, Diademer, PARAdizer (available June 2021)
• Faceplate: Matte Black, high contrast 4 color black, red, blue, green, white.
• Additional Features: Noise Generator, hardware Ring Modulation, External Audio Input (requires MIDI trigger to open gate).
