The Strymon Iridium gives you everything you need to capture the authentic tone of a world-class tube amp driving a perfectly matched speaker cabinet inside a great sounding room in one compact pedal. Dial in an inspiring direct tone with three iconic amplifiers, nine impulse response speaker cabinets, and three room ambience settings.

THREE ICONIC AMPLIFIERS

Iridium uses Strymon’s cutting-edge Matrix Modeling technology to deliver the authentic sound and feel of three iconic tube amps. Each setting captures the subtleties and unique tonal qualities of each amplifier—from component values to bias levels to tube stage gain.

• Round setting is based on a Fender Deluxe Reverb and features a classic clean, bright sound with scooped mids and plenty of headroom
• Chime setting is based on the Brilliant channel of a Vox AC30, perfect for classic rock tones - jangly, bright, and chimey just like your favorite British Invasion records
• Punch setting is the heaviest of the bunch and is based on a Marshall Plexi - with plenty of gain and a powerful midrange response, this amp is perfect for dialing in everything from buttery smooth overdriven tones to high gain distortion and growl

NINE STEREO IR CABINETS

Iridium is the first guitar pedal to feature studio-quality full stereo 24-bit 96 kHz resolution impulse responses, giving you unprecedented levels of realism when performing on stage or in the studio. Iridium comes pre-loaded with a carefully curated collection of premium cabinet impulse responses from OwnHammer, Celestion, cabIR and ValhallaIR. Choose from nine impulses modeled after cabs by Fender, Vox, Mesa Boogie, Marshall and more. And with authentic emulations of speakers by Celestion, Jensen and more, you’ll swear your tone is coming out of a real cabinet.

EASY-TO-USE CONTROLS

Iridium is easy to use, even on poorly lit stages. Use the Drive and Level controls to adjust your input and output levels. The Amp switch on the left lets you switch between the Round, Chime and Punch settings, while the Cab switch on the right lets you selects one of three complimentary cabs for each amp type.

Three familiar controls for Bass, Middle and Treble make it easy to dial in a wide range of tones. The Room control adjusts the level of natural room ambience and can also be used to toggle between small, medium and large room sizes. Use the Fav button at the bottom to quickly recall your favorite settings.

On the back, Iridium features a standard Instrument input, stereo outputs, a multifunction communication jack for external control, and a USB jack for connecting to a computer. An Audio Input Select switch lets you toggle between Mono, Stereo and Sum output settings. Iridium even features a dedicated headphone jack on the side, giving you everything you need to jam in one compact package.
