The desk is in immaculate condition and was approximately $350,000 when purchased new. Less than 10 have ever been built by SSL and the Special Edition was the most advanced and last of the 4000 G+ series. These desks are very sought after and hard to find on the second-hand market. They offer Surround panning (LCRS) (switchable to stereo), extra 8 Aux send, Stereo AFL, PFL, Route instead of Float, True Group Solo and many other features. SSL took all the modifications that they did to Bob Clearmountain’s SSL and incorporated them into this amazing desk at the factory. The desk comes also with a Motionworker (can control tape machines, video machines, DAW's), is fitted with Total Recall, Bargraphs, oxygen free wiring throughout, Ultimation (moving faders & VCA's switchable)Computer cables are 15m.
Maintenance History includes: Power supplies rebuilt and serviced. Phase meter recapped and serviced. Internal TV green screen recapped and serviced.
