SSL 48 Channel Surround (4000 Series) Sound Mixer (Used)

This custom mixer, built by Solid State Logic in 1994, is one of only 3 ever made. Commissioned by Warner Bros Post Production, it was originally designed to enhance the capabilities of SSL G+ large format mixers on major film projects. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of SSL and Warner Bros history.

The mixer is built from these modules:

• 8x SL632A Input modules – with Master level, Cut/Solo buttons and group selector; 6 inputs - each of which has 8 group selects, Main trim pot & On/Check buttons, and Aux selector and trim pot
• 8x SL632B Output modules - with 12 pt LED meter (-24 to +16dB), Cut/Solo buttons, -10 to +10 trim pot
• 2x SL632C Aux Output modules – with 12 pt LED meter (-24 to +16dB), Cut/Solo/Pre buttons, -10 to +10 trim pot
• 1x SL632D Headphone and Solo module – with Solo in Place and trim pot
• 1x SL632E Interface module – with LED indicators for +18, -18, +5 or +24v
• 1x 8 channel Group Fader pack with Solo/Cut functions for each group and Master fader
• 1x SL564 Dual Power Supply (plus a spare)
