Thanks to everyone who entered the inaugural Vintage King Spring Mix Contest and congratulations to our five winners.
Vintage King is offering mix engineers the opportunity to show off their skills in the studio and potentially bring home a pair of Barefoot Sound Footprint 01 monitors. To enter our Spring Mix Contest, you’ll choose from one of five tracks, create your ideal mix and submit an MP3 to be judged against entries from your peers.
We’re teaming up with five masters of engineering and production who will be acting as judges and offering up source files for contestants to work with. Contestants will be able to select the track of the judge they would like to mix or remix and then hit the studio to complete their project. Vintage King’s team of in-house engineers will select the top five entries from each song category and share these with our celebrity judges. Each celebrity judge will listen to the final tracks in their category and select one entry as the grand prize winner.
We will be awarding a pair of Barefoot Sound Footprint 01 Monitors to the engineers whose tracks are selected best overall in each category of the Spring Mix Contest. The Footprint 01 is Barefoot Sound’s most compact monitor, while still featuring the trademark technology that has made the brand a go-to in the studio world. These near-field monitors offer Dual-Force™ technology opposing subwoofers, dual ring radiator tweeter and Multi-Emphasis Monitor Emulation™ technology.
