The Spectra 1964 STX 500 is a painstakingly accurate recreation of the classic Model 500 two-band passive equalizer, custom designed to compliment the new STX 100 preamp. Known for its silky smooth highs and deep, rich lows, the STX 500 offers classic tone in a compact, affordable package.

SUPER-SIMPLE CONTROLS

Equipped with two bands of selectable shelving EQ, the STX 500 is perfect for quickly adding brilliant, sparkling high-end or thick, boomy low-end. Each band offers four fixed frequency selections with up to 12 dB of boost or cut in stepped 2 dB increments for lightning-fast recalls. Choose from 2.5 kHz, 5 kHz, 10 kHz or 15 kHz on the high band, and 50 Hz, 100 Hz, 200 Hz or 15 kHz on the low band. Each slope is custom-tuned to match the shape of the original unit for an instantly classic sound.

The STX 500 is designed to compliment the STX 100 preamp. When paired together, the passive STX 500 becomes the active feedback element of the STX 100 amplifier for unparalleled versatility.
