The Soyuz 017 TUBE Condenser Microphone with Lakeside Microphone Preamp Bundle pairs the Soyuz's handmade large diaphragm tube condenser microphone with their single-channel, Class A microphone preamp featuring all-discrete circuitry, custom-wound input and output transformers. The 017 TUBE comes complete with a beautiful handmade wood suitcase, power supply, with built-in -20 dB pad, 6-pin cable and shock mount.
The Soyuz 017 TUBE is a large diaphragm tube condenser microphone delivering a sound that is as rich, warm, solid, and beautiful as its hand-crafted, polished design suggests. The 017 features a cardioid capsule with a gold-sputtered, hand-tuned 34mm diaphragm. As with all Soyuz microphones, the 017 is completely handmade: bodies and capsules are manually machined, transformers are wound in-house, and all wiring is true point-to-point. The blue-badged 017 TUBE comes in a wooden case with a custom, hand-machined shock mount, special 6-pin cable, power supply, and extra 6ZH1P pentode tube.
