sE Electronics set the bar even higher with the introduction of the SPACE (Specialised Portable Acoustic Control Environment.) This filter has a larger surface area, which offers incredible isolation in any room for professional vocal and instrument recordings. By surrounding more of the microphone, SPACE limits the amount of direct sound reaching walls and, ultimately, reflecting back towards the microphone.
SPACE's design consists of an unprecedented 10 thick layers of sE's patented Multi-Layer Air-Gap technology. The inclusion of seven new vertical bass pillars deepens the air gaps while adding randomization of diffusion. SPACE also boasts new mounting hardware, providing a more robust clamp that's fully adjustable and lockable, both vertically and horizontally, with the ability to tilt for instrument recording at any angle.

It improved my sound quality a lot but I still hear room reverberations in my vocals. So I suggest buying acoustic treatment with your Space filter!
Works exactly as advertised. I have used other ‘lesser’ versions of this type of device and this is by far the best. We took a gym bar bell weight and placed it over the round base of the mic stand for stability and while heavy to move, it is very stable. The adjustability and fact that it will still position a U-87 is why this was our selection.
